For sale is this incredibly rare 1994 Gibson Thunderbolt / Flying Z electric guitar by Hiroshi "Kid" Kido. Incredibly handsome with vintage accurate Korina neck/body construction and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, it is believed that only a small batch of approximately 5 were ever produced; one of which was owned by Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick, another owned by Howard Lease of Heart, and this one, which was procured from the gentleman who sourced the entire batch originally in 1993. This guitar is in 100% all original condition, and has never really been used. It is in immaculate shape aside from oxidation of various gold hardware. The finish and frets are perfect, and it was clearly never played. This is a very rare guitar made by one of the masterbuilders of vintage spec. Flying Vs. It includes a non-original case, as none of them were originally delivered with a case that accommodate such a shape. The last one to sell went quickly at $9K over 3 years ago, and it is likely this will be the last one to ever be offered online.
