The Smooth/Stepped Generator, or SSG, is another crucial component to the classic Serge Modular Synthesizer. It fulfills an amazing array of functions such as slewing, staircase waveform generation, and voltage-controlled LFO. However, like all Serge circuits, its adaptability is stunning. Exploration and self-patching of the SSG is a truly rewarding experience which yields many "easter eggs," yet it remains fully under control thanks to the beautiful panel and design.
