A really nice 1960's Teisco Del Ray EB-110 Tulip Bass Made in Japan Guitar.
I love this one......It has a very hot Teisco Pickup, Original hardware, Pickguard and Bridge.. It even has the original Thumb Rest and Case....and it plays and sounds like you would expect it to...It has a 31 inch scale neck so not technically a short scale. Unusual to have a neck this long on these basses...They are usually short scale in length...I have sold many Tulip style Teisco 6 stings guitars..This is the first Tulip Bass I have scored and its awesome...
This is a very cool Bass Guitar....they play and sound great .......It is set up with great low playing action...it is an awesome find and some lucky buyer is going to get this really cool Bass...
Lets review whats original on this one....
It has the original Neck, Head Stock, Tuners, Teisco Del Ray Logo and Model info on back, Tuner grommets, nut, body, Teisco Hot Pickup, Bridge, tailpiece, knobs, Thumb Rest and Pickguard..
I even have the original Case that fits and looks great. All latches, hinges, and handle are present and working...great Softshell Case!
Now lets see whats not original...
Nothing!! Maybe a screw here or there...its stock original!!
I got this one on my recent buying trip to Nashville. Bought it from an awesome Luthier there and he has it set up great with really nice Flatwound strings...It has dings and scratches but all cosmetic stuff. The neck is very straight. The truss rod moves but I didn't want to crank on it. It doesn't need any adjustment. No fret outs and great easy playing action...
It looks good, sounds good, and plays good...It has low easy playing action... it will all be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this alot and have not had one complaint.... It has a few nicks and scratches as seen in the pics but it is a solid 8.5 out of 10 Bass Guitar..
.....Now this Bass guitar is beautiful and vintage so its sold as-is no returns… but… it will not disappoint the lucky bid winner..check my feedbacks ...This one will be no exception... it will be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this alot.....The lucky bid winner pays $38.00 shipping the lower 48...all others please ask first...
