This is the ONLY Jimi Hendrix owned Manny's guitar store pick that I have! Offered is an extremely rare Manny's Music Store guitar pick that was owned by Jimi Hendrix and was given to Larry Lee to use at Woodstock. The picks were in a guitar case that had a 1955 black Les Paul that was co-owned by Jimi Hendrix and Larry Lee in the 1960's and had a guitar strap and cords that were given to Larry Lee by Jimi, before they performed together at Woodstock. The guitar was purchased by Larry Lee and Jimi Hendrix in 1962 from a pawn shop in Nashville. Jimi used the guitar while playing with the King Casuals and later with Bob Fisher and the Barnevilles. Soon after these gigs Hendrix sold his share of the guitar to his friend Larry Lee. Jimi on occasion would play the guitar. Larry Lee played this guitar on stage with Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock. There is a photograph of Jimi playing this guitar on stage in the book "Jimi Hendrix Electric Gypsy" by Harry Shapiro & Caesar Glebbeek. The guitar was placed in a Sotheby's auction in 1991. A guitar strap. cords and several Manny's guitar picks that belonged to Jimi were given to Larry Lee and they were removed and returned to Larry Lee by Sotheby's (the strap and the cords are in the upcoming November 3, Heritage auction which includes a signed LOA from Larry Lee). The picks were later part of Larry Lee's estate and were acquired directly from the estate. The Texas Musicians Museum examined the documents, history, provenance and documented the the guitar pick and then certified and encapsulated the pick. The pick is a late 1960's era Manny's pick, the Woodstock ticket has been placed in an encapsulated, unique, secure and tamper evident holder (see image). The
