Custom Van Halen 1982 Frankenstrat EVH Frankenstein replica

Here is my custom made Van Halen Frankenstrat.
Unlike the Fender replica this guitar is based on the version of the Frankenstrat Eddie Van Halen used during the 1982 Van Halen “Hide your sheep” tour.
This version has a 22 fret neck with skunk stripe and sanded off logo. Shiny Floyd Rose and no blue paint smears.

Countless hours went into making, painting, relicing and detailing this guitar to make it as accurate as possible.
The guitar was originally completed in 2012 and has been pictured in Total Guitar magazine.
Since then the bridge and tuners have been upgraded to those currently on the guitar and reflectors added.

The guitar consists of the following parts -
“Replicator X” replica Mighty Mite red pickup
-NOS 80’s made CRL switch
-Bare Knuckle Pickups “VHII” bridge pickup
-Bare Knuckle Pickups 550k pot
-Original limited Floyd Rose “1984” edition with Floyd Rose 37mm Brass Block
-Schaller M6 mini tuners
-Maple neck
-Alder body
-Correct pattern Cortina truck/bike reflectors
-1971 US quarter
-Vintage Fender spec nickel neck plate with stamped “61071” serial number.

The guitar sounds amazing and is fitted with Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings.

Has never been gigged and comes from a smoke and pet free home.

The guitar will come in a Gator XL Hardcase with the Floyd Rose tools, EVH D-Tuna (DTuna has previously been fitted and has a small blemish which I have tried to show in the photographs).
I will also include a roll of white duct tape to replicate the folded strip to keep guitar picks (It collects fluff from the guitar case) and provide the original boxes for the pickup, bridge and tuners. I can also include pictures of the build process if you would like.

To reduce risk of damage during transit to the United States the strings will be loosened to take tension from the neck.
The guitar will need to be tuned/setup once you get it (ie, you can’t play it out the box...... ok you could play it but it wouldn’t be in tune).
