About This Listing

I have a friend who swears by Schecter basses because he says they put more high quality components in them at an affordable price than the competition.  Check out these features and see if you don't agree with him.

The Schecter CV-4 electrtic Bass is hot looking and hot playing. An alder body offers a clean and modern look. The neck and fingerboard have that smooth, fast Schecter feel, while Duncan Design Pickups (humbucker bridge, single-coil neck) and active electronics offer enough sonic versatility to cover a wide range of musical styles.

The CV-4 has a 34" bolt-on neck (six bolts) with 24 medium jumbo frets. The neck is very comfortable thin maple neck with rosewood fretboard. The pickups are active Duncan designed (modeled after the Semour Duncan pickups) humbucker in the bridge position and a single coil in the neck postion for the extra tone when slapping. This bass has 1 volume 1 blend and a 3 knob/band equalization and a cut/boost slap switch for that full tone when slapping/popping. All controls are chrome finsh.

This bass was sent to the refurbisher because it is a discontinued model, it had no issues and is in brand new condition!

The bass was made in Korea.

A gig bag is $35 and a Guardian hard shell case is $69.

Why buy a refurbished bass?

I specialize in manufacturer refurbished guitars and basses because I believe they are a tremendous value.  These instruments have actually passed more quality tests than those that go straight from the manufacturer to a music store.  These instruments do not have major flaws, they have had a minor issue such as a slight finish blemish or perhaps an electrical issue such as a loose solder joint.  I buy my guitars and basses from the largest, and in my opinion the best, refurbishing center in the country located near Nashville.  They are staffed with factory trained luthiers who take great pride in the products they put up for sale.  Each instrument must pass 5 tests before it is released for sale.  Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all.  Each instrument is stamped used and issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent unethical retailers from selling these instruments as new rather than refurbished, because a refurbished instrument does not carry the manufacturer warranty.  I live close enough to Nashville that I travel to the factory and pick out my guitars myself.  I play each one prior to listing it for sale.  You can be assured if I would not be proud to give it as a gift, I will not take it.

The pictures in my listings are ALWAYS of the actual instrument that is listed, I never use stock photos for a refurbished instrument.  If I know why the instrument was sent for refurbishing I will put it in the listing, however many of them are rated NVR, which means no visible repair.  Please email me with any questions you have, you will find that I give very detailed answers.  I am a musician first, and that drives my choice of instruments to sell and the detail that I give in answering any questions.

Thanks for looking!
