Really cool Yamaha PSR-70 from 1985. I love the look of this keyboard,
it's rockin' the 1980s style with a bazillion multi-colored selector
buttons each with their own LED. The PSR 70 has some pretty sweet sounds
in the "orchestra" and some pretty cool drum selections too. It also
features 3 track recording, auto bass control, transposer and pitch
control. It's MIDI ready, which Yamaha called "Future-Oreiented Music"
when it came out. Comes with an after market power adaptor. You could
also use 6 'D" batteries, but you'd need to tape them in as the battery
cover is missing.
I have fully tested this keyboard, every key,
every button, every slider, and every function. It all works EXCEPT the
low 'C' key. I guess if I had to have one key not work, this would be
the one I'd want, but I know it's still an inconvenience so I'm lowering
the price to account for it. There's also the possibility that the key
could be made operational by cleaning the contact.
