Very nice Flamenca Blanca by Valeriano Bernal, 2004, Modelo Buleria, Rare Three piece back, discontinued now, looks muy flamenco! also rare Cedar Top.
I love the combination of Cypress and Cedar, old school flamenco!
Made at the workshop up in the hills of Algodonales, Cadiz province. Signed by one of the sons Rafal Bernal, Valeriano has now passed away.
These guitars have a great flamenco feel and sound, and look very traditional, very attractive headstock. Buleria now discontinued.
This guitar is in great overall condition, just a few knocks here and there, also a couple of dowels inlaid at the back of the neck as strengtheners on the neck splice, perfectly done, no break, just on the glue joins. Manolo Sanlucar has played these guitars.
The machines were replaced with brass Rubner types as bernal would use quite cheap tuners to keep the guitars competitive, spending the money on wood and craftmanship. Has original case.
