Released by Ketron/Solton in 1985, the Programmer 24 is a rare arranger workstation, a stunning piece of retro-technology mainly used for Italo Disco productions. And yes, it implements MIDI.

SOUNDS
- 15 PCM (8 bits) Drum samples with accent and 8 separated outputs
- 4 analog bass sounds with dedicated output
- Polyphonic organ with 3 switchable voices (8' - 4' - 2') and triple BBD chorus
- Polyphonic strings (Cello - Violin) with triple BBD chorus

MANUAL DRUMS
16 keys of the keyboard are provided for Drum programming and live playing.

BASS FUNCTIONS
Auto Bass, Manual Bass, Pedal Bass

PATTERNS
Up to 64 Patterns available. Programming functions are: Clear, Time-Number of Bars, Record, Error Correct, Instrument Clear. Programming mode: Real Time Step by Step.  

SONGS
Up to 63 Songs (Chains of Patterns or Preset Rhythms). Up to 89 Patterns are assignable to each of the 63 Songs. Song functions: Record, Clear, Fill In Mode.

ARRANGER
48 Arrangements divided in 2 groups: A and B. Accompaniment sections: Piano, Guitar, Brass, Accordion, Banjo, Clarinet, Flute, Synt. Separate volume controls for each section. Auto Bass and Memory functions. BASS: Double Bass, Bass Guitar, Synt. Bass, Tuba. 3 operating functions: Auto Bass, Manual Bass, Pedal Bass. Sustain and volume controls.

PATTERN SEQUENCER
2 track monophonic Sequencer. Free programming of Bass and Piano (or Synt) solo lines. Up to 1200 notes (approx.) available on each track. Real Time or Step by Step programming.

SONG CHORD SEQUENCER
1 track polyphonic sequencer. Up to 4000 notes available. Chords or harmonies may be programmed in Real Time to form a complete Song. The Status of the various Accompaniment controls may be memorized together with the Chord sequence.

TAPE INTERFACE
