Vintage Mighty Mite Mfg. 1400 Humbucker Pickup USA Screamer Neck Bridge 8.9 Ohms Van Halen Hex Poles

Mighty Mite Mfg. 1400 Humbucker Pickup!  Rare!  Late 70's/early 80's.  Van Halen used the 1300 and 1400 pickups.   8.9 ohms. Has hex poles.

Mighty Mite pickups were made at a Southern California company called Turbo-Jet and the bobbins were wound using a bondable wire. After the bobbins were wound, the coils were heated in ovens and the special insulation would bond to each other making a solid coil.

EVH had the mighty mite 1300 and the mighty mite 1800 and the mighty mite single coil and the mighty mite clear bobbin (all can be verified by photos) and he probably also had the mighty mite 1400.
