Beautiful Hohner Professional L59 Les Paul style electric guitar, great condition. This guitar probably dates to the 1990s and was probably made in Korea. Photos show condition, it has aged very nicely. Gold finish on some hardware is naturally worn from normal use. Plays easy, low action. The neck feels wide and thin.
This guitar has Seymour Duncan pickups, a JB (SH-4) in the bridge position and Jazz (SH-2N) in the neck. They sound great, of course. The plastic tip on the pickup selector switch is missing. Just noticed the pots are kind of scratchy. Pickguard and mounting hardware are missing, leaving a couple of screw holes (one on the top and one on the side).
Flamed maple top has a few scratches and imperfections, as does the back. Binding on body, neck and headstock is intact all the way around. Overall it is a great looking guitar that plays nicely. Has a fresh set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings, .009-.042.
This well-built guitar is pretty heavy, weighing 9.15 pounds.
