This Hi-Fi amplifier is in fair condition. Our 8-point functional test was completed in full: all checks passed except channel switching and no hum. Note: The amplifier powers on, but many of the channel inputs are intermittent. We were able to get clean audio through the main CD input and some others, but inputs such as Phono and Tuner were either very muffled or crackly. Because of this, we have graded this amplifier as Fair. There are a few light surface marks and scratches from use, none of which affect how it works. Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product.

The Musical Fidelity B1 is an analogue stereo integrated amplifier built around a fully discrete Class A/B transistor design and a toroidal power supply, aiming for a warm, dynamic sound reminiscent of valve amplifiers. It delivers 60W per channel into 8 ohms and 100W into 4 ohms, with a motor-driven analogue volume control and an extruded aluminium front panel. Connectivity includes RCA line inputs, a 3.5mm aux input, an MM phono stage, coaxial and optical digital inputs, HDMI ARC, Bluetooth 5.1, variable RCA preamp outputs and 4mm speaker binding posts.
