For sale is my made in Mexico Fender '72 Telecaster Deluxe which has been refinished in a worn black Nitrocellulose finish. This guitar is fantastic and has serious vintage mojo without the custom shop price tag!
I have upgraded this instrument quite significantly from stock. Although I haven't changed the stock humbucker pickups, I have upgraded the pots and wiring to 1 meg pots. This made the darker sounding humbuckers brighter and IMO they sound absolutely fantastic. I have replaced the switch also, the jack input and had a new bone nut cut for it. Stays in tune well!
It plays incredibly well as I had it set up very recently and it sounds absolutely brilliant! A seriously great feeling neck on it.
The serial number on headstock did come off in the refinishing process. I may have a record of it somewhere, but I'd have to do some digging.
