This is a 1990 Yamaha Attitude Custom. This one is signed and dated '92 by Billy Sheehan when he was at the height of his Mr. Big days. This bass is New Old Stock (NOS) and has spent it's entire life on a music store wall. In 1992 Yamaha had not signed the deal with Billy yet, so this is the bass that would become the Billy Sheehan Signature Model in 1994. It has all of Billy's appointments: Black thumb inlays, Stereo outputs, active pickups. Note that the new series III Sheehan models come with the soapbar at the bridge visible through the pickguard. This one has the pickup hidden beneath to act as a "woofer" according to the description. Billy Sheehan, undisputed bass master and voted one of the top 25 bassists of all time by Bass Player Magazine. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind item, a certificate of authenticy can be provided on request for an additional fee. This is an immaculate bass and unique piece of music memorabelia.
