Ever since Fender began producing the Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster in 1987, the Signature Series has expanded to include a diverse array of artists, with models manufactured in both California and Mexico. 

The Jimmy Vaughan Tex-Mex Stratocaster features a Poplar body with a Maple fingerboard, single-ply pickguard and three Tex-Mex single coil pickups. Jimmy Vaughn's signature appears on the back of the headstock. It is produced in Olympic White, Black, Candy Apple Red, and two-tone Sunburst.
