Since its original reintroduction in 1966, the Flying V has seen its fair share of versions with a number of different hardware and cosmetic variations. While many Flying Vs from the late '70s and early '80s used uncovered humbuckers and exotic finishes to match the style of the era, Gibson did produce some with more traditional appointments like this standard model from 1980.
