Fender California Stratocaster 1997 Candy Apple Red

There has been a lot of debate around the inherent quality of Stratocasters made in the USA as opposed to those made in Mexico. The California Series was a short-lived attempt to find middle ground between the two worlds, with assembly taking place in the US and finishing taking place in Mexico. It featured three Tex-Mex single coil pickups in an Alder body.
