Reverb Estimated Used Price Range

  • $1,500$2,000

Introduced as part of the new 35 Series in 1965, the D-35 used Rosewood for its back/sides like the D-28 but featured a bound fingerboard, a three-piece back and more elaborate body binding than the D-28.

Like other Martins, a major point of differentiation for the D-35 came in 1969 when Martin began the transition from Brazilian to Indian Rosewood. For a brief time in 1970, the center strip of the back was still made with Brazilian Rosewood.
