Gibson LG-2 1944 Sunburst
Reverb Estimated Used Price Range
- $2,590 — $3,395
Introduced in 1942, the LG-2 was part of the same series as the LG-1 and LG-3 (and the later LG-0). The LG-2 is considered much more desirable than the LG-1 or LG-0 due in part to its use of x-style top bracing. From 1942 to about 1946, the LG-2 used Gibon's "Only a Gibson is Good enough" banner logo on the headstock. Examples with the banner logo are more desirable.
