The all Mahogany Martin 15 series dates back to 1939. The modern 000-15sm is an auditorium-sized acoustic with few visual embellishments. This guitar, for example, lacks binding on the body and fingerboard. The 000-15SM differs from the 000-15M by using a 12-fret above the body design with an older style shoulder slope, as well as a slotted headstock.
