As part of the Style 28 series of guitars, the Martin 00-28G used Rosewood for its back and sides. This unique Martin featured a 14 fret style shape, but only had 12 frets clear of the body. The bracing pattern used for the 00-28G varies somewhat throughout production with both fan- and x-style bracing patterns used.
