As part of the Martin 18 series, the 00-18 used Mahogany for its back and sides (though examples from prior to 1917 used Rosewood). Like other orchestra or auditorium-sized Martins, the 00-18 is considered an excellent finger-style guitar. All 00-sized Martins from prior to 1934 had 12-frets clear of the body.

Unique to this Year: Bridge changes from square to rounded belly bridge.
