Martin 00-18 1939 Natural
Reverb Estimated Used Price Range
- $6,000 — $8,000
As part of the Martin 18 series, the 00-18 used Mahogany for its back and sides (though examples from prior to 1917 used Rosewood). Like other orchestra or auditorium-sized Martins, the 00-18 is considered an excellent finger-style guitar. The 00-18 changed from 12 to 14 clear of the body in 1933 and 1934, which also brought an update to the body shape. Just like Martin Dreadnoughts, 00-18s from between 1934 and the beginning of World War II are the most sought-after by collectors.
