Gibson 61 Reissue SG 1994 Cherry
Reverb Estimated Used Price Range
- $1,040 — $1,365
The Gibson SG was introduced in 1961 as a complete replacement for the Les Paul. The new design was thought to be a more modern solidbody guitar, with sleek beveled edges and two sharp cutaways. Starting in 1985, Gibson began to reissue the original SG from the era when it was still referred to the Les Paul. This model is mostly distinguished by its use of the original smaller pickguard, a input jack on the top of the guitar, and a shorter neck joint than later versions.
