Also known as the Switchmaster, the Gibson ES-5 wielded three P-90 pickups, three volume knobs and a master tone control. After 1957, the ES-5 was given a triple set of PAF humbuckers. Examples with the humbuckers are considerably more valuable than the earlier P-90 editions.
