Originally conceived as a production of rides encapsulating Paiste's vintage cymbal-smithing process, the Masters evolved into a complete series after positive reception from the community. The cymbals typically have a dark character, soft response evocative of older cymbals and a complex tonality.
The Deep Ride was developed in conjunction with session musician John Robinson. The cymbal features a heavy weight, pronounced sticking and dark character.
