The API A2D dual mic preamp combines a pair of signature 312 mic preamps that feed into an AD converter. This preamp includes both analog and digital outputs for each of its two channels as well as insert points between those sections. Several units can be linked together and to a central clock source with the A2D's pair of 9-pin D-sub connectors. Also included are six sample rate choices, polarity, standard phantom power, an input pad, 2:1, and mic/line switches.
