The Taylor 600 Series features figured curly Maple for the backs and sides of all its models with a Sitka Spruce top. Other appointments included unique ablaone fingerboard inlays, abalone rosette and headstock logo after 1994.
The Taylor 615ce replaced the original jumbo body offering within the 600 Series, the 615, in 1998. Up until 2004, this model featured Fishman Onboard Blender electronics. It was later replaced by Taylor's own Expression System.
