As the dreadnought entry in Taylor's 400 series, the 410ce uses African Ovangkol (Ovankol) for its back and sides which yields a tone similar to Rosewood. Before 1998, this model used Mahogany for its back and sides. The 410ce features a Venetian cutaway and onboard Expression System electronics (Fishman pre-2004).
