Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway 1960 TV Yellow

Reverb Estimated Used Price Range

  • $7,000$8,500

From 1954 - 1958, the Gibson Les Paul Junior was a single cutaway model, but was produced from 1958 - 1961 as a double cutaway. Like its two-pickup sister model, the Les Paul Special, the Les Paul Junior used a Mahogany body and neck, but had a single P-90 pickup.

The standard finish for the Les Paul Junior as a double cutaway was Cherry, with a limited number made in other finishes. The TV Yellow finish is the most sought after, designed to stand out on black-and-white television at the time. This finish garners a significant higher price than the Cherry finish, which usually runs $4k - $5k.

Years of Production: 1954 - 1963 (original run)
