Fender Telecaster Thinline 1973 Walnut
Reverb Estimated Used Price Range
- $2,590 — $3,980
The Thinline Telecaster was introduced in 1968 as the result of an attempt by Fender to offer a lighter-weight Telecaster option. Fender designers started by adding chambering to the body, and later added a stylish F-hole to highlight the new concept. Originally, the Thinline Tele featured the same pickups and electronic configuration of the normal single-coil Telecaster. This would change in 1972 when the Thinline was outfitted with a pair of humbuckers.
