Reverb Estimated Used Price Range

  • $400$600

The Classic Series was originally produced in Japan starting in 1992 and later moved production to Mexico in 1999. This line of guitars recreates the specs and feel of vintage years without the high-end price attached to Custom Shop models that play on the same idea.

The Fender Classic Series '50 Telecaster recreates the design of the 1950s Telecaster, but uses a Basswood body with a Maple neck and fingerboard. It featured two single coil pickups and came in a variety of standard finishes, including Shell Pink and Sonic Blue towards the end of Japanese production.

Finishes: Black, Blonde, Candy Apple Red, Shell Pink, Sonic Blue

Years of Production: 1992 - present (Japan production moving to Mexico in 1999)
