Vox Vox Phantom XII Stereo Black 1966

The Vox Phantom XII Stereo was released in 1965 as an upgrade to the Phantom XII. Capitalizing on The Beatles' use of twelve string instruments in the mid 60s, the Phantom XII Stereo featured images of the Fab Four prominently in its advertising. Unlike the Phantom XII, the XII Stereo did not feature a tremolo as standard, but incorporated additional tone controls thanks to new split-coil pickups.
