Overview

The Spyder IV was Vox's take on the popular violin-bass concept originated by Hofner and popularized by Paul McCartney. Like many Vox instruments in the late '60s, this bass was produced for Vox by Eko in Italy. Vox also released a version of this bass with onboard G tuner, distortion booster, and treble and bass controls known as the Astro IV Bass.
