Vintage 1966 Fender Precision Bass

The Fender Precision Bass remains the most recorded bass in history -- a revolutionary design from the 1950s, and the first widely accepted and used electric bass guitar. With its fat neck and fatter tone, the P-Bass is a versatile machine suitable for any and all styles of music and playing, from funk to punk, slapping to thumbing. The 1960s were a transitional time for Fender, with the CBS buyout in 1965 and shifts in how these classic basses were produced. This also means there are some amazing deals on mid-to-late '60s Precisions which aren't as desirable to high-value collectors. Have a look through our sizable inventory of these great instruments from a great period in Fender's production.
