Résumé

Designed in collaboration with Richie Kotzen as his signature drive, the Tech 21 Richie Kotzen OMG Overdrive is a meticulously built drive meant to deliver rich all-analog distortion that won't get muddy. The controls are fairly simple, with level, tone, girth, drive, and boost knobs adorning the blood-red chassis, each giving you the option to dial in the right mid- to high-gain tones. Named after Kotzen's song "OMG," the OMG Overdrive is certainly one that will give you cause for exclamation.

    The EQ capabilities of this pedal and built-in boost make it a very versatile OD/distortion. I like to set it 1/2-way for a decent attack-sensitive OD and use the the volume control and boost to send it into more overdrive.
