The parametric EQ gives a characterful, high-quality tone with a peak set at a chosen frequency. Push the SUSTAIN knob all the way up and the sustain surges in dramatically afterward - quite an extreme effect, so a moderate setting is recommended. A built-in noise suppressor also handles noise well.
