Overview

Taylor's 600 Series uses Maple for its back and sides paired with a Sitka Spruce top. The 612c was a cutaway Grand Concert-sized entry in the 600 Series, building upon the original 612, which ran from 1984 to 1992. In 1998, the 612c was discontinued in favor of a version with onboard electronics, the 612ce.
