Introduced in 1994, the Grand Auditorium has earned a place as Taylor's most popular body design. This particular 400-series Grand Auditorium was part of a limited run in Fall 2012 and used Tasmanian Blackwood for the back and sides with a Western Red Cedar top. Blackwood is said to share acoustic characteristics with Koa.
