Bringing together features like a tonally (and visually) lustrous Hawaiian koa top and sides/back, West African ebony fretboard, and faux pearl fishbone-patterned rosette, the Taylor 224ce-K DLX Koa Grand Auditorium is a capstone of craftsmanship that shines as a crown jewel in any collection. Premium Expression System 2 Electronics deliver the rich, full tone of the instrument with nothing lost in translation when you're hitting the stage, but when you're just sitting around strumming, it's more than enough to just get lost in how good this guitar sounds.

One of the nicest looking Koa guitars for that price. Sounds pretty good, but I'm not blown away. Plays like a Taylor (very well). I want to put new strings on it to see if it will really pop.

This has the most beautiful wood of any guitar I have ever owned. It's too pretty to play, I wouldn't even want a shirt button to touch the back. I am fortunate to also have a Gibson SJ300 with all the embellishments but as far as looks go this Taylor knocks it out of the park. I will update after I have used it awhile.
