About this listing
Clearing out private collection. I’m willing to part with anything that sees little to no playtime. This one was hand-picked from a batch of five or six identical basses. It had the best neck, resonance, and weight. Then we gave it some upgrades. Upgraded with a handmade Bosko 2-band '70s-style preamp featuring the LM4250 chip (imported from Serbia). Upgraded with a Nordstrand MM pickup. Includes Gator ABS case. Includes 3 extra pickguards. Total cost breakdown (for reference): Bass: 425 Pickguards: 30 Preamp & shipping: 160 Pickup & shipping: 240 Case: 100 Flatwounds: 50 new condition. Factory protective film still on the hardware. It now sounds exactly the way a StingRay should.
