About this listing
Seymour Duncan Heavy Weather J-Bass Logo Pickup Set
The Heavy Weather J-Bass Logo Pickup Set delivers the aggressive, punchy character that defines modern active-style bass tone without requiring onboard electronics. These Alnico V–equipped single-coils cut through a dense mix with authority while maintaining the articulation and snap that working bassists depend on in any genre.
Tone & Output
Vintage-hot winding generates substantial output and midrange presence, sitting between classic J-Bass warmth and contemporary aggression. The Neck pickup (8.95k DC resistance) and Bridge pickup (9.39k DC resistance) are calibrated to work together as a matched pair, delivering consistency across both positions and blended settings.
Design & Construction
Black covers protect the coils while maintaining a clean aesthetic on the bass body. The passive configuration means zero onboard power requirements—these pickups integrate seamlessly into any wiring scheme and respond directly to your instrument's controls and cable.
