When you're the first completely programmable analog polysynth, you tend to attract a crowd, and for good reason: the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 Rev 3 added distinct changes to the company's flagship that made it distinct from its predecessors and a beast all its own. MIDI retrofitting and microtonal tuning arguably make the Rev 3 the most versatile of all iterations, though some purists argue the Curtis chips don't have that same full sound as the SSMs.
