You will need the pickup; GK2 or GK3, and the 13-pin, GKC cable.Ok… I ain’t gonna lie to you… There’s a LOT of these units that guitarists have gotten rid of because apparently, the learning curve might be above their pay grade, (but not me or YOU, right?)! There’s some geek tech involved, but if you’re willing to spend less than the time it takes to watch the Lord of The Rings trilogy, you can have this set up better than any rig on the planet! Here’s some hints though: 1. Get a Behringer FB-1010 MIDI Foot board, (and the UNO chip…), and download all the software, (both the librarian and the programming applications for a WINDOWS PC, [not sure about MAC at this time...]), for the GR-55 and the FB. LEARN THEM! Then, 2. Program the foot board and the GR55! (Learn more about MIDI!) (There's also some 'famous-artist' presets available online to download...) This one doesn't have the enhanced chip, but that only works on certain pickups. Otherwise it is ready to ROCK! (I have another one that I currently use in production both live and in the studio; this was the backup unit that I kept while on tour...)
