From the Price Guide

Overview

Norma was a Japanese import brand that was distributed in the United States by Strum 'N Drum Inc. Like many brands in the '60s, Norma made a Violin-style guitar inspired by the Hofner 500/1, aka the Beatles Bass.  The desirability of this guitar is based much more on its unique shape and visual panache than on its quality as an instrument.

Years of Production: Late 1960s

Body Style: Semi-hollowbody

Design Elements: F-holes, two single-col pickups, tremolo tailpiece, two control knobs, violin-headstock
