Overview

Messenger guitars were built in California in the late '60s by the Musicraft brand. These instruments were among the first to use aluminum necks, which is the main reason for interest from collectors. Other innovative features include a built-in fuzz circut and a stereo outputs. The Messenger featured two single-coil D'Armond pickups and slanted Rickenbacker-like F-holes.
