The Laney Lionheart Foundry LFSUPER60-112 takes the core concept behind the LF60 and adds practical tools for players who want one amp to cover demos, writing, rehearsal, stage use, and direct recording. It’s still a fully analog 60-watt 1×12 combo designed to behave like a traditional amp — responsive, familiar, and easy to dial in — but with onboard effects and direct output features that make it especially useful in modern playing and recording environments.
Laney’s “everything you need, nothing you don’t” idea fits the Super 60 especially well: it gives you the core working sounds, useful onboard effects, and practical recording/demo features without turning the amp into a menu-driven workstation.
This is not a modeling amp. The amp path is fully analog, built around discrete gain stages and a traditional tone stack derived from the Lionheart tube series. The result is an amplifier that feels familiar immediately, with dynamics that respond naturally to picking strength, guitar volume, and pedals placed in front.
Where the standard LF60 keeps things simpler, the Super 60 version adds built-in vintage-style tremolo, Spiral Array-based chorus/modulation, Secret Path spring reverb, and Laney’s LA·IR cabinet impulse response technology for direct output to a PA, mixer, or recording interface.
At 60 watts with a full 12" speaker, the LFSUPER60-112 provides enough headroom for rehearsals and small-to-medium gigs, while the <1-watt power mode keeps it practical for home use. That range — practice to stage to recording — is where this amp earns its place.
