Overview

The Tidewater Tremolo by JHS is a pedal that promises to distill the warmth and character you'd get from a vintage amp into an exceedingly pedalboard-friendly, mini stompbox enclosure. The controls are simple—a three-knob face with parameters for volume, mix, and speed—and the pedal features three small dip-switches on the back of the PCB for more control. Flip all switches into the down position for a smaller speed range or into the up position for a faster speed range.

  • Awesome

This is very easy to use and has a range of sounds achieved between the speed and the mix. It could be great for something like surf guitar or other 60s music, but also for experimental stuff too. The size and design is pleasing too. Affordable price so no complaints at all. Won’t be needing another trem pedal.

The Tidewater is great as a just s tremolo, but the added boost function is also extremely useful. Tiny footprint, this one is staying on my board!

  • Trem & Boost!

The Tidewater is an awesome Tremolo pedal. The small footprint is great, the graphics are rad, the trem sounds fantastic, there's a blinking LED to indicate the speed, AND this thing works great as a clean boost as well! Another all-star effect from JHS.

So I purchased this pedal when it was released and I have to say it is the best out of the the 3 trem pedals I've tried.
