TIME CAPSULE guitar. I purchased three of these exact 1999 gloss black Ibanez RG7620 7-string amazing sounding electric guitars ideal for metal and hard rock. If you are a shredder then you know what this is. This one that I am selling is the back-up to my back-up and I NEVER played it. It’s all original. It is in truly excellent condition especially given its age. Whether you are an axe wielding metalcore warrior or a collector…you will love this guitar. Here is an article that I found that I didn’t write but seems very accurate. BUT do your own fact checking please:“A little history:The RG7620 is a seven-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid/late 1997. It was sometimes referred to in promotional materials as the RG7-620. The RG7620 was one of the first seven-string RG series models offered by Ibanez along with its fixed bridge sibling, the RG7621. The only previous Ibanez seven strings were part of Steve Vai's signature Universe series.The RG7620 features a basswood body bolted to a maple (maple and bubinga starting in 2000) neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a pair of Dimarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo Pro Edge 7 double locking tremolo bridge.
