Overview

Founded in 1963 by Sound City engineer Dave Reeves, Hiwatt was one of the seminal British amp companies of the 60s and '70s. The '80s and '90s saw the company defunct until it was galvanized in the early 2000s by a new trademark owner.

The SS212 Studio/Stage Combo features four EL84 tubes in output and three ECC83 and one ECC81 tubes in preamp capable of 40w of power. The amp features a Mains switch that allows the user to switch off two of the EL84s for practice-appropriate volumes of 20w.

Features: four EL84 tubes, three ECC83 tubes, one ECC81 tube, three-band EQ, low and high inputs, onboard Accutronics spring reverb
